Flexibility
Meeting the needs of any sized aircraft anywhere in the world, the pont-of-use JetAire units come in sizes ranging from 15 refrigeration ton commuter modes to 90 refrigeration ton units. The JetAire units can be sized and configured to cool/heat virtually any size aircraft, including the B-747-400 in any climatic condition in the world.
Adaptability
The all-electric JetAire units operate on 380 volt to 480 volt power at either 50 or 60 Hertz. The JetAire units are fully adjustable and self-regulating to accommodate all types of aircraft. JetAire air conditioning units can be equipped with Direct Digital Contral capability for greater control and air regulation, and airflow restriction system to ensure a "soft start" of the units, and a staged start capability to minimize in-rush electrical current.
Economy
When used in conjunction with JetPower 400 Hertz converters, the JetAire units allow for the complete shut down of the aircraft auxiliary power unit while the aircraft is parked at the gate. The savings in fuel and maintenance from such a system allows for a very short payback and significant revenue opportunities.
Simplicity
With the JetAire unit, air conditioning service is made available to the aircraft without the costs and inflexibilities of central or in-ground systems. Using JetAire mounted on the passenger boarding bridge, each gate benefits from conditioned air without the need for expensive central chiller facilities, dedicated air-conditioning rooms, extensive piping and valve systems, multiple air handling units, telescoping air ducts, and high installation costs.
