As we design and manufacture to customers’ specifications in our own facility, we are in complete control of what we produce. We can tailor-make a solution to meet any requirement focused on its intended use with our ultimate goal being to exceed expectations.

Case Study

One of our key strengths is our ability to tailor-make intelligent solutions and deliver beyond our customers’ expectations. One such example was an Aerobridge E4 Replacement at Tullamarine Airport in Melbourne for Australia Pacific Airports.

The project was to replace an existing end-of-life aerobridge with our Pedestal Bridge. The challenge was to manufacture an interface node which interfaced with fixed points on the apron and terminal as existing foundation bolts and pads were to be reused.

We surveyed the existing structure and then used the measurements to generate a new CAD model. Special care was needed to ensure that the fabrication column and the mounting point for the new bridge were correct as if either were misaligned then node would not sit correctly on the existing foundation points. The fabrication used similar techniques to the aerobridge so that it appeared integrated. As expected, the attention to detail in the planning and design stages paid off and the node fitted first time.
