We can upgrade your existing aerobridge – even that of another manufacturer – to keep it functioning and in top condition and extend its operational life. Many upgrades can even be performed on-site at the PBB location.

We are known for our high quality products and superior service and support levels that naturally extends to our aerobridge Refurbishment and Upgrade programme.

We have a maintenance team based at Sydney International Airport which travels around the country to provide services to other airports that require support or upgrades.

Case Study

At Auckland International Airport, an Aerobridge Controls Upgrade that we carried out extended the operating life of the bridges, at the same time standardising spare parts. We replaced the existing 20-year-old controls with new PLC controls and touch screens – a required upgrade due to existing systems being too maintenance-intensive but also because the scarcity of parts increased the risk of a future major unplanned outage. It also standardised the bridges from an operator perspective. We manufactured and shipped kits to site which were then installed complete, minimising both the time on-site and down-time.
